Good morning friends!

Happy Tuesday…and happy July Foodie Pen Pal day!

Foodie Pen Pals is hosted by The Lean Green Bean and is a pen pal program that links up foodie bloggers and readers of all kinds! I have absolutely LOVED my other Food Pen Pals, so don’t be afraid to join!

This month, I received my SUPER-AWESOMELY-AMAZING pen pal package from Marcia at Travel, Run, Eat. First, you know you’ve gotten an amazing pen pal when your package is wrapped in pretty paper like this:

Marcia included some of my favorite treats–bars of all kinds and a wonderful trail mix that is perfect to keep in my purse for an on-the-go snack.

Two mini packs of almond butter. Can you say YUM?

Justin’s is my long-time fav, but I had never tried Barney’s. It was just as wonderful!

Marcia also included some tasty raspberry lime green tea…

…and a really interesting heirloom forbidden rice. It’s black!

But the pièce de résistance??!?

Homemade chocolate covered popcorn! Marcia said it’s from a local sweet shop where she lives. Holy Moly it was delicious!! It makes me want to go find a nifty little sweet shop for some goodies for my next pen pal
