Last week a few other students and I went to Las Vegas to help one of my journalism professors run the rAVe Publication booth at the Las Vegas InfoComm convention. Think of it as a really big audiovisual convention with the latest and greatest TVs, projectors, screens and mounts on display. It’s basically a tech-y person’s dream come true. And it was our job to report and video each and every one of the new products being presented. Whew!
Flight to Sin City & Exploring Vegas
the city during the day is nothing compared to the lights at night!
Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan…little tasty creations!
in front of the Bellagio!
Setting up our Booth at InfoComm
the reporting outfit…complete with chucks
on the floor…check out my microphone in my purse and my camera in my pocket. Beginner Reporter.
Lights & Nights
Yes, Paris is in Vegas.
Bellagio water show. I felt like I was in Ocean’s 11
Mystere = WEIRD
Friends & Food
in front of 1-Oak, a club I got kicked out of because they didn’t believe that I was 21. Really?!?!
so we got milkshakes instead
fav Vegas drink: I don’t know what it’s called, but it had a lot of limes. Like a mojito, without the mint!
Fav Vegas meal: seared Ahi tuna with ginger rice. DELISH!
Whew…picture overload I am glad to be back in Charlotte. I am on mile 46 of my 100 mile challenge. So in between all the swim lessons I teach, I have been heading to the gym to crank out the miles. Only 54 more to go!
Have a lovely Thursday!
